If your child is sick parents must notify the nursery in the first instance. Remember even if your child is feeling ok, if they have a contagious illness such as diarrhoea, a skin infection, chicken pox or conjunctivitis, they will not be able to attend nursery, to minimise the risk of infection. Please refer to the Policy Illness/Communicable Diseases for guidance and seek advice from your GP. If your child becomes unwell at nursery you will be contacted and asked to collect them.

Medication that has been prescribed by a doctor but only with prior written consent from the parent with parental responsibility may be administered. The medicine form must be completed in full. If it is not complete medicine will not be given. The parent collecting must sign the form to acknowledge that medication has bee administered. Medicine must be clearly labelled with the child’s name and contents. It must be stored in the medicine cupboard located in the kitchen or the top shelf of the fridge in the nursery kitchen. All medicines are to be taken home at the end of the day. The medicine cupboard will be emptied at the end of each week and any medication left at the nursery will be disposed of appropriately.

Fees are invoiced on the first working day of the month and are payable  by the 10th monthly. We ask for a £50 non-refundable registration fee to secure your child’s place.

Four weeks notice is required if a parent no longer requires a place or wishes to decrease the agreed number of hours. Any such notice should be given in writing to the Manager and will be taken from the date it is received.

The nursery accepts no responsibility for loss of personal possessions unless legally liable.
